Most important is the comfort of my horse on rough terrain and many hours in the saddle. I can use the different colors for parade costume options. I use the neoprene in the summer and switch to the felt or sheepskin in the winter. (Felt, Neoprene, 2 Sheepskin (1 black and 1 white). I have all 4 liner options which is really nice to have. She has not had one stumble and feels so much better since using this. ![]() This cinch stays where you put it and keeps the saddle back where it should be. ![]() It was so bad it was causing her to stumble and I even came off her one day when she stumbled to her knees. All other cinches rode up in her armpits and brought the saddle forward. I have a VERY round Morgan mare with mutton withers and a forward girth groove. With an additional roller buckle, cinching up is made a breeze and will save your hands in the long run!Ĭomments: Just wanted to let you know your product has worked amazingly for me and my horse. The wool felt liner is a great all around liner as it is moisture wicking, disperses heat, and is easier to clean than fleece. Freedom of the shoulder will allow the horse a full range of motion under saddle while the cutback will prevent galls in the elbow area. Even riders who are not experiencing saddle slippage can benefit from this girth, as it improves saddle fit.įor easy cleaning and care, the velcro backing allows you to effortlessly remove the felt liner so your horse can experience a fresh cinch for every ride. An added benefit of changing the position and angle of the billets is to prevent the saddle from interfering with the shoulder. This brings the latigos from a forward angle to become perpendicular to the ground, which reduces the saddle's tendency to be pulled into the shoulder. This is due to the ergonomic shape, as the center of the cinch is set forward to sit in the horse's natural girth groove while the sides of the cinch are cut back two inches behind the horse's girth line. The Shoulder Relief Western Felt Cinch actually changes the position and angle of the billets to create a more secure fit. Total Saddle Fit has re-imagined how a cinch should work and has therefore created a piece of equipment that provides comfort for your horse and ensures your saddle will stay in place! Saddle slippage and girth galls can cause both discomfort and pain, interfering with your horse's performance.
